Islamophobia has been around for a while in France. But recently it has grown. It all started in October 2020, when President Emmanuel Macron commented on Islam. Since then, Muslim countries and people started to boycott French products. It now continues with the laws President Macron has put in regards to the hijab. What happened to the freedom a citizen has there?!
